While there is a lot of freedom in what you can pursue through an Inspiration Grant, there are a number of things that this program is not intended for, including:
- Preparing you for a post-Kellogg role or job
- Covering travel you will be undertaking anyway, such as travel for a planned exchange quarter, another Kellogg group/class, or personal travel
- Providing a cultural immersion experience
- Covering travel for something you’re simply interested in learning more about without an intention of starting a business, including, but not limited to, developing a report or playbook, networking, or simply disseminating information you collect
- Travel to conferences
- Tourism-related topics or focus areas
- Intending to start a non-scalable, services business or pursuing an ETA search as your entrepreneurial plans
